Got it. The solution is to change this (in /etc/X11/xorg.conf):

Achieving 1366x768 (solved)
Hi. The first time I installed Ubuntu 9.10 (following these instructions) I was able to set the screen resolution to 1366x768 on my HDTV. I only played around with it for a little bit before getting a new hard drive. After I installed Ubuntu on the new drive I don't have the option of using 1366x768...
