Ah, there was a bios option I had to tweak, something about the hard drive was set to DOS. Setting that to Other got me past the seg fault w/FreeBSD 8.

Success with OpenBSD 4.6 32 bit. Both nics and the wireless were detected and seemed to work. I did not test X or sound. I had some issues with FreeBSD 8.0, but I think they were the result of an old gpart scheme on the drive, and/or some strangeness with 8.0's installer. I'm installing 7.3 on the m...

I don't know, but I plan on finding out once mine arrives in a week or two. I'll also be testing FreeBSD 8 on it.
