extract the image to hdd and use dd to transfer the image to the usb stick...

worked very nicely for me

Just got done installing the ubuntu 0804 image.
It seems to play video very well the samples plyed with less than 20% cpu usage.


Now it would be nice to get them working under 0810
anyone have a how to for 0810?

I was able to install 0804 by using boot parameter.
all_generic_ide iirc.

Yes please make a working optimized Image available to download, what ever version is shown in the you-tube video. In addition any other linux versions that are compatible with proper video drivers, should be noted and made available. Minimally give us a How-to so we can replicate it ourselves. Than...

No partitions are found when trying to install ubuntu 0804

Why would you test with 0704 linuxmce.... that is very old.
0710 is current release and 0810 is alpha.


I am currently testing this with LinuxMce 0810 and it works...

Just need to get the drivers ironed out...


With vesa drivers it is unusable.
