I just upgraded to Windows 10 and I am having the same problem, but the forcedisablejd fix is no longer working. Any suggestions?

Please be aware that Win 8 drivers not necessary fit Win 10.
To be sure that HW is fine please install Win 7 with its drivers or Linux and test the audio. For Win 10 it is better to wait for official drivers, published by us or by audio codec vendor.

I have the same problem (with an Intense PC 2). The strange thing is that I upgraded to Windows 10 several months ago and that all was working well until a few days ago.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall realtek drivers, I tried with the windows default drivers, but no more sound. :( The sound panel tells that there is no connected speaker.

I tried to boot on a Live Linux distribution and have sound with it.

I suggest to go back to the last working driver.
Maybe HW vendor has updated the driver and caused this issue.

you have misunderstood, if I tried to install the last driver it's because I had no more sound since a few days

What BIOS version you use?
We have to make sure that your audio plug detection pin is not damaged and if yes that there is still automatic audio output.

Please do the following on your IPC2:
1. reset the BIOS

2. upgrade/override the BIOS

Nothing better after the BIOS reset.

I can't upgrade the BIOS, the DosFlash application is not compatible with 64bits OS.

Anyway I think the mor evident is that the plug detection pin is damaged because the problem occurs since I had to unplug/replug the audio cable.

Its possible, but the latest BIOS removes the dependency in this detection mechanism and should fix your issue.
Please try again the upgrade procedure as many of our customer do it on a weekly basis.

Otherwise please follow an RMA procedure:
