Audio digital noise

I bought a PC4 to drive an HDMI projector, and it all works pretty well except the audio quality. There is a very audible sizzle that corresponds with the mouse moving or other app activity. I am using the analog 3.5mm jack.
Obviously there is an HDMI audio output, but I'd have to buy a splitter and converter to feed the audio mixer.
It is a digital mixer (Presonus) but it doesn't have any Linux software.
Is there any recommendation for USB audio cards?
