Running the fit-PC4 with Linux Mint 17.1. Temperature reported by "inxi" command reports 67.1C and ranges from low 60C to over 80C with various uses. Highest temperatures from watching videos. Even in the morning with no use overnight (unit is not shutdown, hibernate or suspend mode) the temperature is usually around 50C. How can I troubleshoot this and reduce operating temperature?

BTW the temperature does not seem to affect any performance to date, but I have read that it may shorten component lifespan.

fit-PC4 is designed to operate in these temperatures. It has no fans but passive cooling only, so it is normal. Please don't worry about components lifespan. They will hold for many years.
