Failed with error 19 when installing pfSense on FItlet

I'd like to run psSense on my FitLet, but I am having difficulty installing from USB. After booting into multi-user mode and just before the installation routine begins I get the following error:

Code: Select all

Trying to mount root from ufs://dev/ufs/pfSense [ro]...
mountroot: waiting for device /dev/ufs/pfSense ...
Mounting from ufs:/dev/ufs/pfSense failed with error 19.
Are there specific BIOS settings I need or something else I might have overlooked?

I am running the latest BIOS [SBCFLI.0.08.08]] on my fitlet-XA10-LAN.

Thanks!

Hi,
- Does the installer work on other machines?
- Have you tried another USB port? USB2 instead of USB3?

I confirmed that I am able to use the USB installer on another computer.

Oddly, I was able to install pfSense to another USB and boot that USB on the FitLet. I suspect I do not have something set right in the BIOS, but haven't figured out what it is.

Not too big of a deal. If I cannot get pfSense installed, I can always configure everything using Linux. I was originally thinking going the pfSense route would be easier.
