Hi.

This is the second time my ipc3 (running Win 10 Home) have crashed to BSOD after apparently getting overheated. First time was playing some flash game online, this time was watching video.

I cannot boot in normal mode.

Booting in safe mode with network is possible.

I have tried removing and reinstalling Intel HD graphics driver - both latest version and the one linked to on the IPC3 driver page here. Neither worked.

Last time i ended up having to do a full reinstall of Windows after spending MANY HOURS trying A LOT OF THINGS from various online guides to no awail.

Now:

1. Can i fix this issue without having to reinstall Windows? If so how?

2. How the frekk is it possible that a fanless system like this is not constructed with some sort of safety feature that will turn the system of BEFORE it has reached a temp where it sustais permanet damage?

3. Any suggestions on how to implement this type of safety oneself? Speedfan etc? What would be good temps for warning / shutdown to awoid this type of thing in the future?

Cheers,

/Narco
