Hi, We have several Fit-PC2 instant on models which run XP Pro. When I try to install a common "USB stick" GSM modem on the Fit-PC2s the install software always says the modem has an error or is disconnected. This "USB stick" GSM modem works correctly on every other notebook in the company so I suspected there is something different about the Fit_PC2s.
I have the feeling that the USB is not supplying sufficient power to the "USB stick" GSM modem (only a guess).
Any solution to why a USB device that works ok on 30 other notebooks does not work on any of our Fit-PC2?
Thanks, Robert Yeatman

Re: USB GSM modem problem
To confirm your assumption about power - try connecting through a powered hub.
