 Sample rates throughput of the PC2i's coax Hi,
I was asked to put my question in this forum, rather than in an email to tech support.
Anyway, I intend of buying the PC2i when it becomes available, upgrade the HDD and connect it to some coax- and DAC-equipped active speakers (AVI ADM9.1).
Sometimes, I will have to play back stereofiles at 192kHz, and more often, files at 88.2kHz, and 48khz - all 24bit files.
Most of those files will either be BWF (wave) files, others will be flac.
They will of course have to be put out in PCM to the speaker-DAC, but I wonder if it CAN put out such high rates on the (digital) minijack? I wouldn't think there'd be any problems, but I might be overlooking something.
It won't itself do any sample rate conversions, so do you foresee any problems?
