Hi

Maybe a dumb question but what am I getting by installing intel's embedded driver over the ordinary driver?

Are windows7 users missing out on something when the embedded driver only is available to xp users?

The IEGD and GMA500 drivers are different in several ways.
GMA500 advantages
- DirectX is better
- Better flash support
IEGD advantages
- Option to disable display detection (DDC)
- Some OpenGL support
- Better accelerated video rendering
