Question about formating the Fit-PC2

Post by zeper »

Ok so ive got a fit-pc2 for about 3 month now.
had a problem so i downloaded and installed Windows-7, but after i realised that some programms aint working on it and wanted to get Win-Xp back.
i dont know how to do it.
I have a 8Gig USB - Made it bootble NTFC, putted the Windows installation files on it.
putted the drive first on the boot screen.
and it doesent start the install. how can i Format my Fit-Pc2 with a USB drive?
if i try to install XP over Win-7 the "Install" is greyed out.

Or soes the Fit-pc only reads FAT-32 ? and i need to change it to that? :S

Can you install XP from the external USB CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive?
It's not that easy to make XP install from memory stick.
If you start the setup from the XP CD/DVD disk, you would be able to delete any partition and install XP.

You can try this guide: http://komku.blogspot.com/2008/11/insta ... -disk.html
I also saw a link to some similar guide posted here in the forum.

EDIT: found it (the advise from ender) -

You can try to use USB_MultiBoot_10.
