I very much like the idea of space and energy saving that the fit PC offers but I am concerned that it would not be powerful enough for the above applications. I would really like the PC to be very responsive and also be up to the task of displaying HD pictures as well as full HD video with no artifacts. Any comments please.

fit-PC2 is marginal for these applications. fit-PC3 will work great for that.
