Hi,

Recently I ordered a fit-PC2-XP-HD. When I tried to use the media player classic to play 720p HD video, I found there is no sound. Actually the video playback is quite smooth and CPU loading is also quite low. But I cannot watch movie without sound, right?

Could you help me solve this issue??

thanks.

Note that the DVI connector does not transmit sound.
When connecting speakers to line-out and playing other audio files - do you get sound?

I tried to use a different decoder (http://www.baofeng.com/) which cannot open the hardware acceleration of GMA 500. 720p video and audio playback is no problem with it.

However, as indicated, I found no sound with GMA 500 accelerated video play back with Power DVD 8 SE.

The audio codecs are independent of GMA500. The ffdshow audio codecs are known to work fine. They are default in MPC-HC. You may configure your player to use them.
