Hello!

How would I go about making a xp embedded os image including the cyberlink codec (the one hat has been fitted for the fitpc2)? Is this specific cyberlink codec available separately?

The CyberLink PowerDVD 8 SE is pre-installed on fit-PC2 XP HD and not sold separately.

Ok. So, do I understand this correctly: it is not possible to prepare a fitpc2 with xp embedded on a SSD which would be able to play HD video loops?

As I have experienced with the fitpc2 the Cyberlink coced is the only way to get a smooth playout of high-def content. Or... is there another way? MJPEGs loaded in ram or...?

From what I heard from users, later PowerDVD versions incorporate GMA500 acceleration. We have not tested that.
