If you haven't seen the video, you might find it interesting. Some teenage hobbyist had a Habey box with a z530 cpu and a Habey iemgd driver installed on a version of Windows 7 embedded and was demonstrating the setup doing great feats of streaming video at maybe 30% cpu utilization.
Remember that Windows 7 and Windows 8 both have excessive overheads that interfere with gma500 operation and generally slow the systems down, and this teenager apparently found a setup that greatly reduced this problem.
