Windows 8.1 on the z530 with 1G ram

I followed the instructions for the z550, with the chipset drivers carried over from Windows 8, then re-installed the EMGD and the Windows 7 sound drivers from Compulab. The spare ram is at best 550 to 600 megabytes, and goes down about 150 when Firefox starts, but I got some really good full-screen streaming video from Amazon (at low quality) with excellent lip synchronization and almost no sound artifacts. And, so far, streaming flash from youtube.com seems to work about as well, even full screen. Windows has a way of changing subtly over Time, so the above comments could be invalidated by further updates.
