rt_ioctl_giwscan log messages - Why?

Post by NHpc2 »

I got a new PC2i this week and noticed that the log file is filling up with the following messages, generated once a minute:

Jun 22 13:35:38 ubuntu-fitpc2 kernel: [112989.049117] ===>rt_ioctl_giwscan. 1(1) BSS returned, data->length = 105
Jun 22 13:36:38 ubuntu-fitpc2 kernel: [113049.049405] ===>rt_ioctl_giwscan. 1(1) BSS returned, data->length = 105
Jun 22 13:37:38 ubuntu-fitpc2 kernel: [113109.049000] ===>rt_ioctl_giwscan. 1(1) BSS returned, data->length = 105
Jun 22 13:38:38 ubuntu-fitpc2 kernel: [113169.048842] ===>rt_ioctl_giwscan. 1(1) BSS returned, data->length = 105

Anyone know what the cause is? My network connection is using eth0. Eth1 and wlan0 are not actively being used.
