multicast on rt kernel 8.04

Hi all.
In our company we have a problem using the rt kernel ubuntu 8.04 on fit-pc2: we can send to multicast addresses but we cannot receive.
We have installed an ubuntu 10.04 and it works, but not the rt kernel hardy. All the configs seem to be set correctly and also the kernel (CONFIG_IP_MULTICAST=y, etc) so, it seems to be a bug in the kernel.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
