The netbook remixed image is a regular Ubuntu 9.04 with some extra packages. Others have reported that Realtek driver works fine. I myself only compiled and loaded the module to see if the hardware answered. I haven't actually sent any packets via the wireless card as I don't need it. Look in the Ubuntu 9.04 forum section for more info.
