Post Restoring Wireless Connectivity in Ubuntu 12.04
So we seemed to have all the glitches worked out in setting up Ubuntu 12.04 LTS on our Fit-PC2i and then when we installed updates it disabled the wireless connection. I'm trying to bring it back using the RT3090-DKMS driver but now I keep getting an error with unmet dependencies. I'm pretty new at Linux so this is well beyond my capabilities.

Try to run
Code:
sudo apt-get install -f

to fix unmet dependencies

Ok, that seems to have eliminated the dependencies. Do you have suggestions on how to either roll back the update or install new drivers for the Wi-Fi? We're using the FIt PC to control a vehicle and need wireless comms.

On Ubuntu 12.04 and LinuxMint 13 rt3090 wireless should work out-of-the box, even after updates. No need to install any rt3090-dkms.
Please try to install using our wiki page:

I am experiencing the same issue.

I installed Lubuntu 12.10 on my fit-PC2 SSD, and everything worked perfectly out of the box. However, after running 'sudo apt-get update', the wireless broke. It works every few reboots, but otherwise is shown as DISABLED in `sudo lshw -C network` and wireless device not ready.

Hi,
Wi-Fi chip on fit-PC2i is a USB device, do you see it if you run lsusb command?
