Fit-PC2i - Ubuntu - Hotspot

Post by afr »

Hallo,

I have a Fit-PC2i and have installed an Ubuntu (12.04 LTS). Everything works nice and I can access internet via wifi. Now, I would like to have a hotspot on my fit-pc. I downloaded hostapd and dnsmasq and have configurated following files:

"hostpapd" in /etc/init.d/hostapd
"hostapd.conf" in /etc/hostapd.conf
"interfaces" in /etc/network/interfaces
"dnsmasq.conf" in /etc/dnsmasq.conf

I have attached all files.

I always get this error "invalid/unknown driver rt3070". Can everyone help me?
Thank you in anticipation!

I'm not sure about hostapd and master mode, but you can setup Ad-Hoc netwotk in gui, in Wi-Fi properties find "Create new Wi-Fi network".
