Disk not recognized by Ubuntu 10.04 Server.

I have a Fit PC2i Model D1G-C1600-H8W and it was purchased with a Renice X1 2.5 SATA II - P/N RCM008-SX12 disk drive, I can't enable AHCI in BIOS, so what driver would I use to allow the OS to see the drive during the install? The disk is recognized in BIOS as Generic FCR SATA Loader (PM).

Hi,
Personally I don't have experience configuring AHCI, neither familiar with its operation or features. Please refer to the following Wikipedia article - maybe it can supply some answers.

Does your fit-PC2i came with the storage drive installed or other one?
Anyway, from my side I will check this as well.
