Speakers are not recognized by windows.

Post by felixk »

Hi.
I have fit-pc2 device. I think it is some older FitPC-2 model without WiFi.
I have a problem with the sound. I can not hear sound.
I installed the latest version of Realtek High Definition Audio. (See the attached screenshot - 1)
I play mp3 file by Windows Media Player. On the Sounds panel (playback Tab) of the Control Panel I see(3 in screenshot) that the speakers(actualy headset) are not recognized by the windows. But the realtek Digital Output is alive (2 in screenshot). I see the motion of digital device indicator on (2 and 3) but I cannot hear it. What is the problem?

Thank you.

Hi.

1. According to your picture, speakers are connected to Mic In and not to Line Out. Please, read the "fit-PC2's Owner's Manual" to connect the speakers correctly.

2. Did you download the Audio Driver from our site?

I tried to connect the speakers to the all three audio connectors but with the same result. It does not work.
The audio driver I installed I downloaded from http://www.fit-pc2.com/download/win7-drivers/.
I am working with Windows Embedded 7.
It seams like no physical connection on the audio connectors.
Any body help.

Hi.

1. We don't support Windows Embedded 7 officially. The OS that were tested and approved are: Windows 7 Pro and Windows XP Home.

2. Please, provide me the following details about your system:
- fit-PC2 revision.
For revision identification see: http://fit-pc2.com/wiki/index.php?title ... _Revisions
- BIOS Date.
You can find it at the bottom of the Main window in BIOS.
