Power & Temperature

Post by morety »

Hello guys,

nice to hear that you are going to release a high-performance Intel machine.
I am curious to know what will be the power consumption range of the Intense devices.

And... I am also curious about the normal operational temperatures. Are they close to the once from the fit-pc2 2GHz?

Idle power of Intense PC is 8W. Top power depends on configuration, but since the Core i7 supports Turbo Boost power can climb momentarily as high as the thermal envelope allows.

Intense PC has advanced thermal management that monitors both CPU and touch temperature. Under normal workload Intense PC runs cooler than fit-PC2. Under stress test thermal throttling may kick in.
