PXE Boot problems

Post by casie »

Hello!
I've problems to invoke PXE-Boot. It is not possible to boot from a Remote Boot Server. I changed the boot order in the boot section of the bios. But every time the system boots only from the internal ssd.

Regards
Carsten

Sorry, not possible at the moment. Now a collegue has got the PC.
I have made a workaround. I booted the pc with a usb-pendrive and an image with a gpxe driver.

With this image it was possible to boot from a pxe server with the realtek network connector.

In the bios Boot tab menu there was an option for "Intel gigabit NIC". I moved that entry to the first position of the menu. But it was not possible to boot from PXE network. There was also no message from the NIC, like a DHCP request.
