Will Ethernet ports pass signal when power is off?

Post by jerry »

Will the Ethernet ports on the IPC provide bypass capabilities? For example, I would like to be able to unplug the power and still be able to route between the ports. For example, I can make this device into a firewall and still be able to have internet access if the IPC Pro is unplugged. Any response to the above question is appreciated.

Hello Jerry

Sorry for a late response. I am afraid the answer is no. To route the network signals, you will have to power the IPC and run some software that will route the ports.
