fit-PC3 USB bandwidth

Hello,

I would like to connect 3 USB webcams to the fit-PC3. 1 of them is 720p MJPEG compressed while 2 of them are VGA un-compressed video feeds.

Using other computers, I have had the problem that there was not enough bandwidth available on the USB ports. Basically, I could connect 1 HD and 1 VGA cameras but not 2 VGA because they are not compressing their data and it is taking all the available bandwidth.

My question is: before purchasing the fit-PC3, does anybody know how many USB hubs there are inside the computer? If I am connecting these 3 USB cameras on any port, is there a way to not share the bandwidth among them?

Thanks!

The Chipset used in Fit-PC3 contains x3 USB2 Root HUBs with EHCI.
In addition there is USB3 interface supporting additional, independent, high-speed USB2 channel.
Therefore, no problem to connect x4 USB2 high speed devices without sharing the bandwidth.
Of course you should consider that connection of mouse/keyboard to one of the HUBs that somehow will slows down the channel.

In order to take advantage of x4 high speed USB ports connect the devices as following:
Back-Panel:
1) Any port of dual USB2 connector
2) Any port of dual USB3 connector
Front Panel (from left to right):
3) First or second single USB2 connector
4) Last single USB2 connector
(*) Note that third single USB2 connector is shared with HUB related to dual USB2 connector of the back-panel

Fit-PC3 has 3 USB2 controllers, and one USB3 controller.

Thank you.
But I think you are wrong, because in this scheme

I can see only two controller USB2.0 and USB3.0
