Post Hard Disk issues in Debian
Hi,

I installed Debian Squeeze on my fit-pc2. All runs ok, so each time I try to fsck a large partition in the internal hard disk, I get this errors:

Code:

I've received the fit-pc2 a few days ago, so I think it should not be the hard drive (I still need to test it). Can anyone help me?

Thank you very much in advance

I have similar problems. I'm running Ubuntu Server 9.04. I saw that my system was running a bit warm (~60 C) so I put the unit on the edge. This lowered the average temp by ~5 C and the problem went away.

Could be a coincident but it is worth a try.

Thank you very much. I've tested what you said and still get the same error, with kernel version 2.6.26 and 2.6.30. I've asked SMART with skdump and reported 2 bad sectors, so I'm going to test the hard disk with the Hitachi suite.
