USB wifi dongles work when plugged in to the front

Post by vtailor »

I was not getting any serious wifi connectivity by plugging a USB dongle into the back of my z510. But, when I plugged the dong'e into the front, I immediately got outstanding data transfer speeds. In other words, the back USB ports are not recommended for wifi dongles.

Whew, the latest Slackware kernel, 3.7.1-smp, available in the 'slackware-current' directory, with poulsbo.ko renamed, works very well on my z510, excellent sound and all.
