USB Rescue?

Post by richardg »

Managed to brick my PC.
Tried to use Ubuntu Rescue Disk on usb thumbdrive but it could not boot properly.

Is there a usb boot "disk" for Intense PC available?
Thanks.

Will give it a go.

Went there, could not find a specific "liveusb" edition?
Do you mean download an iso, then use unetbootin or similar to create bootable usb drive from the iso?
Thanks.

Download the iso and make dd directly to the disk-on-key (supposing it was detected as /dev/sdb):

Code: Select all

sudo dd if=linuxmint-13-cinnamon-dvd-64bit.iso of=/dev/sdb bs=1M
