 without case...
I was wondering if it's possible to buy it without the case. I'm one of those people who like to put computer components into strange places, and as such the case would most likely just be a wasted if i purchased one.

It's called SBC-FITPC2 http://compulab.co.il/fitpc2/html/fitpc2-sb-datasheet.htmIt is an industrial product. intented for high-volume. The single unit price is higer than the packed Fit-PC2. The cost effective solution for low volume is buying a Fit-PC2.

The case is a very effective heat dissipation solution. Without it you will need another solution that might be larger. Sticking a heatsink directly on top of the CPU is not recommended.
