Website feedback for FitPC3 - Identify all of the IO ports
It took me quite a while to find a document that identified which audio port is the input and which is the output. It would be nice if the main website identified all of the ports on the back of the FitPC3. The diagram I finally found is this one: http://www.opencompany.dk/pdf/fit_pc3_d ... ompany.pdfMy recommendation is to modify the System and IO page: http://www.fit-pc.com/web/introduction- ... em-and-io/so that the System and IO page identifies all of the ports.

We appreciate the feed-back. I completely agree - this information is not accessible enough. We will modify the website to rectify that. In addition, please note the fit-PC3 documentation repository at http://www.fit-pc.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page and http://www.fit-pc.com/wiki/index.php/Fit-PC3:_Documentation#fit-PC3.

Re: Website feedback for FitPC3 - Identify all of the IO por
As a professional computer support person, I also find hardware documentation quite valuable. For example the Sun System Handbook is very useful when I work as a Solaris System Administrator. This handbook included sections for processor, it's speed, and core count. Plus, annotated pictures, I/O port with exact feature set, vendor supplied parts, (and there exact feature set).
With the fit-PC 3 having so many variants, it might be wise to have something like the Sun System Handbook.
Plus, one nice feature about that web handbook was that I could E-Mail changes or update when I found missing or in-correct information. This worked both when I worked for Sun and not. I personally have submited hundreds of updates over the last 10 years.
If you want assistance setting up something like that I can certainly assist, as can others. In fact, you can setup a separate sub-forum for documentation updates and discussions.
