Are you able to open a console (by pressing Ctrl + Alt + F2 key) during the "hang up" event?


No I am not. the keyboard is not responsible at all, I am not even able to switch the caps-lock or num-lock or scroll-lock, the leds do not react on it.

this bug may be related to my problem:

according to the second bugreport's thread the bug seems to be related to power management. so maybe the BIOS upgrade mentioned in this topic: http://fit-pc.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=2607 could solve this bug if power management can be turned off in BIOS. just thinking.
