I am also interested in Coreboot.
But I am afraid of making my fit-pc unusable if I experiment with the BIOS.
If someone knows I would be happy. |

It would need someone with the hardware, enthusiasm or will to add the mainboard support for Geode. Describe how the mainboard is wired up and so on.
Of course until there are no known good firmware binaries for the specific mainboard, it is very crucial to have the means to restore the mainboard from a non-working firmware, which needs the help of some other hardware - hot flashing, ROM emulator, ROM programmer or some such. Coreboot web page and IRC channel would be happy to help when someone has the concrete desire and will to get it done - including the will to buying the necessary equipment to restore from a botched firmware to get it supported. _________________ Gentoo Linux developer
