Has anyone tried to replace the HDMI output with a composite video/audio output? Would this be moderately user-hackable, or something somebody could be hired to do?
HDMI to composite converters seem to runs somewhere around $250. If it's going to cost that much I'm wondering if it would be worth it just to hire someone to replace the on-board output.
(Composite to HDMI, for some reason, is much less expensive.)

Re: Customize A/V Output?
You can chain fit-VGA to VGA-composite converter. This would be the most cost-effective solution.
