fit-PC2 diskless with Intel Atom Z530
Hi, I would like to know whether a fit-PC2 diskless with an Intel Atom Z530 CPU will be available. I would really like to have a SSD in fit-PC2, so throwing away or selling the HDD is just extra effort for me.
Regards, Matthias

Re: fit-PC2 diskless with Intel Atom Z530
I came to this forum to ask the exact same question as above.
I would like a Fit-PC2 with the Atom Z530, but I do not want a hard disk included, as I will be buying an SSD instead.
Why is there no option for a diskless Fit-PC2 with the faster CPU?

The models shown on the Wiki page http://fit-pc2.com/wiki/index.php?title ... ailabilitywill be soon offered directly from Fit-PC2 site through Paypal purchase. All other models (including Z530 diskless without WiFi) would be offered by Fit-PC2 distributors.

+1 for offering the fit-PC2 diskless with Intel Atom Z530 directly from Fit-PC2 site through Paypal purchase. What a pity it is the french distributor requires to order 100 units to get this model

Re: fit-PC2 diskless with Intel Atom Z530
Somebody correct me if i'm wrong. But i was under the impression that a us15w doesn't have sata. So they had to use a ide to sata converter.
So maximum troughput can't get higher then 133MB/S Which is lower then both sata1 or sata2

The interface is SATA2, but maximum throughput is limited by HDD, and PATA to SATA converter.

Typical 2,5" SATA drives will be slower than the interface limit, and even if you put a SSD in, it's unlikely that you'll notice that it doesn't work at it's full speed.
