BIOS can see Compact Flash SATA but Linux won't [SOLVED]
I tried to use a sandisk Compact Flash 4GB with a SATA adaptor as a small SSD.
When I go F2 to BIOS settings a can see the Compact 4GB as a primary drive.
But when I boot my Linux, installed on USB key and SD card, I can't see any device related to the 4GB disk.
I've looked in /proc/partitions , /dev , blockdev --report , nothing new shows up , only the SD card and USB key.
I've tried different settings for this SATA drive in BIOS.
Note: the Linux is booting on USB key (couldn"t manage to boot on SD) and it was installed before I add this custom SSD.
The boot order is SD, USB key, SATA.
Thanks for any help...
