Post Re: Can't install
- Is your fit-pc working good with a live USB stick ?

- Can you use the Ctrl-Alt-F1 shortcut keys to switch to the first console and see any message ?

- Can you wait a long while to be sure the installation really hangs ?
(Maybe the system is downloading and installing stuffs from Ubuntu repository on the internet and take a while for that ?)

- Can you use another iso image (ubuntu alternate, lubuntu, mint or whatever) ?
Maybe you created a bad image on your USB key (check the md5sum).

Otherwhise, can you explain more ... Can you give more clues ?

Hello

Can you please give some more details of the installation process? I.E. OS, install media, the hang up screen?

Thanks

I've tried to wait 2 hours and without any connection, so yes.

I've tried to install from an external USB DVD, an ASUS SDRW-08D1S-U, with 11.04 Desktop/Server iso and 11.10 Desktop/Server iso.

I've tried to install from a iso burned on cd downloaded from Ubuntu official site; I've tried Ubuntu 11.04 Desktop/Server and 11.10 Desktop/Server.

The installation hang on the screen attached.

Hello

If you press an "esc" key while you see this screen, is it disappears? Can you post me the installation log prior it hangs up?

Thanks
