new to this forum, so please be gentle. have jsut bought a fit2 with xp home addition pre installed.
i intend to use this with a weather station to upload info to the web all the time.
as i do not have a screen or keyboard, then i intend to use remote desktop connection to access the computer.
i have tried to set this up, and all works when trying to connect my fit to my desktop running win7 ultimate, but my desktop will not connection to the fit. all works with other machines. so i know that my desktop is working just fine.
when i try to connect i get an an error message with 3 options, should have made a not of thse, but it is the 3rd option that seems to apply.
has any one had a similar problem? if so, how did you resolve.

XP Home does not have RDP server (it does have client).
You should use a 3rd party remote access SW or upgrade to XP Pro.

many thanks for the responce, i had kind of suspected that it may be the case that i needed to upgrde, i assume that is why i can connect to other machines, but not back to my fit-pc.
xp pro on order aling with a usb dvd drive to get things upgraded.
