| Can It run Windows Server 2003? I wanted to make Fit-PC as a website server that runs 24/7. |

We haven't tested Windows Server 2003 on fit-PC.
We tested Apache on Linux and WinXP. It works well. _________________ -------------------------

I have not had any drivers for XP not work under 2003 so my guess is the drivers will not be an issue, but I don't think it will run that great with only 256MB of RAM.
You might actually be better trying Longhorn than 2003 if Longhorn support the Readyboost technology like Vista does. Then you could use a 2GB flash drive that is ready-boost ready to increase your RAM and then you might get usable performance out of it.
This is just my experience talking, I'm not an employee of any of the involved companies. |

| I got Windows 2003 to successfully run on Fit-PC without any significant difficulties. The only problem I have had with Windows XP and Windows 2003 is that many of the drivers are missing, and for me at least the video driver forces me down to 640x480 @ 256 colors. If I use the standard VGA driver in Windows then it operates fine at higher resolution and colors. Some others devices are not recognized and do not seem to have any drivers available, but all the core stuff (video, sound, network) all work fine. |
