I've tried the pre-installed Gentoo as well as Ubunu Feisty and Gutsy and have found PCLinuxOS 2007 to be the most satisfying distro (so far) to me.

- Package management's fine via Synaptic
- Recommended min. of 512 MB Ram seems to not be needed (256 is fine).
- Recognized USB drives like Ubuntu
- a VNC server app was pre-installed which made remote control easier (preferable in some cases).
- Sound worked right away.

Anyway, if you've also done the "Which distro works best on the Fit-PC" dance like I did, you may also want to download the CD ISO from www.pclinuxos.org
