How about creating our own distribution for fitPC ?

Benefits:
1) opzimized/compiled
2) only necessary/supported services and drivers will be included
3) instead of using update manager we can use periodical releases based on stability testing...
4) we might include programs and stuff we want that will be available just after installation. No need for futher costomization.
5) it will work fine without any need for tweaking for newbies.

it might be a spin-off from Gentoo with a light UI such as XFCE.
