BIOS update procedure

  1. Prepare FAT formatted USB Disk-on-key
  2. Download the latest IPC2 BIOS ROM files
  3. Unzip and copy 3 files to the root directory:
    • IPC2.cap
    • startup.nsh
    • ShellFlash64.efi
  4. Insert the USB flash drive and ensure no other boot-able USB devices connected
  5. Power on IPC2, enter BIOS by pressing F2. Go to "Boot Features" and set "Legacy Boot" to "Disable"
  6. Check on the "Boot" tab that inserted USB listed as first boot device, otherwise change the boot order accordingly
  7. Go to "Exit" and press "Exit Saving Changes"
  8. IPC2 will restart and BIOS update will take place
  9. Wait for "BIOS is updated successfully. Press any key to continue ..." message
  10. Remove USB disk and press ENTER
  11. System may do several power cycles and then boot normally
  12. Configure the settings of the new BIOS according to your needs
