The G-T56N APU supports AMD VT-x.
While not strictly necessary for virtualization, it does enhance performance.

Sorry for the stale reply, but I had a question related to this. What happens if the voltage drops below 8V? Since the internal DC-DC supply accepts 8-15V, obviously >15V would cause damage, but what would happen if it were to drop? My guess is it would cause system instability (reboots, etc), but I...

I suggest using a USB->VGA adapter. They are generally much cheaper than a DVI->VGA converter. Unfortunately, this will draw ~2.5W more power than normal, and would occupy a USB slot.

WinXP will boot on 48MB, but not much will run.
Firefox won't work. IE6 works fine though.
