Mint 13 Very slow on fitpc2 Z530 1go Ram
Hello, recently I decided to migrate from windows xp to on MINT 13 , on fitpc2 Z530 1go Ram,mainly because it is officially supported. (following the step by step guide) I like the look of the final result but all is slower than before, is there tips or things to do to boost the performances? cheers...

they do not distribute the files, you'll have to buy another fit pc , with presinstalled codec to have those files. I have the same problem as you, and would be ready to pay to buy an iso image,but I don't think it will happen. Maybe we can ask somebody gentle to make us a iso image? the only soluti...

I installed ubuntu 10.04 yersteday using the excellent fly's tuto, but this morning booting on ubuntu doesn't work anymore. Hello I am a game/map graphic designer and I use fitpc since a long time now with xp. I tested open arena, it works smoothly on 640x480, but as soon as I change the resolution it crashes,giving this error:

I am a bit disappointed of my ubuntu experience now, all is working, but mozilla for example is slow as hell when surfing on big php pages as gmail etc. all is generally with quality but very slow, I tested video, it works normally...I did'nt played hd the slowness make it unsatisfaying for daily us...

okay I solved the problem using ctrl + alt + - I tried before using this keyboard combination, but because my usb keyboard was azerty, plus the "e" letters and ":" for example didn't show up in console for an unknown reason, the all thing was really complicated, pressing all the keys finally I found...
