Thanks. I installed SeaTools and the HDD seems to be fine.

I am worried about the message which displays since today after every startup. DISK ERROR PLEASE PRESS ANY KEY TO CONTINUE Fortunately doing so successfully loads Windows7 but I need your advice to find ouf if my HD has a more serious problem and will fail soon.
