Mini B - mini A USB cable instead of the USB A adapter

About standard FitPC2i accessories: I noticed I frequently need the "mini USB A to USB A female" adapter provided to plug a mini USB B device with its "mini USB B to USB A male"... A mini USB B - mini USB A cable (both males) would be more convenient here. I suggest to replace one of those two adapt...

Re: Small Battery

I suggest you add a 15 minutes battery to prevent power cuts. That would be a nice move to use this empty 2.5" sata slot. I think it shouldn't cost a lot for the internal connector, next to the unused sata slot. I guess the chipset already has batteries monitoring ability. And the company would mak...

Mandriva lists two eth0 and no eth1

The Mandriva One 2010 graphical network configuration tool lists the eth0 twice and there isn't eth1. The second eth0 is really the eth0 itself, not a miss labeled eth1 : I've tested a configuration, it points to eth0. The ifconfig output seems ok. I guess I will do a manual config the old way with ...

Fit-VGA out of range signal

When I use FitPC2i with Fit-VGA and a LCD 19" 1280x1024, the vga signal is out of range for the monitor (77Hz vertical).
As I can't see anything, I can't change the OS settings for the display.

What should I try ?

(I borrowed a hdmi monitor for the moment, but I can't keep it...)

Re: Boot from MiniSD cardreader?

I've installed Linux on a microSDHC 8Gb with an USB adapter (the Mandriva One installer doesn't see miniSD card as an available disk, but with USB it's ok). The bootloader is GRUB and it boots when the microSDHC is in the USB adapter. When I use the same microSDHC in a miniSD adapter it does not boo...

Re: mini howto mandrive with pulsbo and HT

No luck with Mandriva 2010 Spring ( 2010.1 ) with an Internet http install (I booted stage1 on usb or pxe). The Poulsbo chipset is detected, graphic card chosen accordingly. When I configure X during the install I have a blank screen and then the installer resume with an error message... I will try ...

Re: Boot from MiniSD cardreader?

By the way : I seems it supports boot on SDHC
Does this mean there is no longer the 2Gb limit ?
Can I buy any 4Gb or 8Gb SDHC to boot ?
