Wireless adapter drops connection

Post by veselap »

Hello,

When the computer is left inactive for some time and the monitor used for it is switched to another devise the wireless connection is dropped. The only way for me to reestablish the connection when I come back to using the PC is to reboot it, which is annoying.

I have disabled all standby and turn off options through on the Power Options settings in the Control Panel. The problem does not happen if the PC is in active use.

Do you guys have an idea why this could be happening?

Thanks.

Please, perform the following instructions:

1) Go to Device Manager
2) Expend the Network Adapters section
3) Right-click on wireless adapter
4) Choose Properties option
5) In Properties window open Advanced tab
6) Click on Power Saving Mode option in Property window
7) If its value is Max_PSP, change it to CAM
8) Press OK
