Bootable SD Memory is it possible?

Post by lccreech »

I've formatted/partitioned an SD memory card with NTFS and enabled the boot flag, and installed XP on it. My goal is to eventually install XP Embedded and write protect it on the SD Card. But... there doesn't seem to be a BIOS option to boot the SD Memory Card? I've tried a USB adapter for the card and tried booting via USB, that didn't work either (support for FAT 32 only?).

Are there plans to make the BIOS capable to boot from SD?

There is no plan to support boot from SD in the near future.
